What is the meaning of the blue and red lights on the hub air?
The Hub Air has two indicator lights: blue for Zigbee functionality and red for Wi-Fi functionality. These lights also serve as indicators during the pairing process, letting the user know if the Hub Air is in pairing mode.
In EZ pairing mode, the blue light should be solid and the red light should be blinking quickly. In AP pairing mode, the blue light should still be solid but the red light should be blinking slowly.
Once successfully paired, only the red light will remain on without blinking. When the Hub Air is searching for Zigbee products, the blue light will start blinking to indicate that the search has begun.
How many devices can the Near Zigbee Hub Air add?
Up to 50 smart devices.

If the LED status light on your Near smart switch does not light up after installation. The smart switch is not receiving power.
Troubleshooting Steps

- Ensure all wiring is connected as instructed. Gently tug on each connection to make sure they are secured firmly with the terminal screws.
- Double check that your load and live wires are correctly installed at their respective terminals. At the DB, turn on the MCB to test if this change helped. If it still doesn't work, turn off the power to the switch again.
- Reinstall your old switch to check if it works properly. Turn on power to the switch, then test it.
Are Near switches compatible with 2 or 3-way switches?
No, Near smart switches are one-way, single-poled.
At this point in time, Near Smart Switches can only replace a switch that is the only switch that controls the fixture. It cannot be used as a multi-way switch.
Examples:
A switch that turns on/off the light in a room. There are no other switches that can also turn that light on or off. If you have no neutral wiring, then this switch is compatible.
A switch that turns on/off the light from the bottom of a staircase. There's another switch at the top of the stairs that can also turn that light on or off. This switch is not compatible.
Your switch turns on/off the lights from a panel at the entrance of a room. On the other side of the room, there is another panel that can also turn the lights on/off. This switch is not compatible.

PIR Motion Sensor
Near Zigbee PIR Motion Sensor Product Guide & Frequently Asked Questions.
Why isn't the automation working?
To effectively automate your Zigbee motion sensor, utilize the "When device status changes" feature on the "Create Scene" page of the Near app.
While setting up, we recommend using only the "PIR state" function as it is more reliable than the "PIR - min without movement" function.
There may also be installation issues that could affect the automation.
- Upon successful pairing, the Zigbee motion sensor will enter a 5-minute testing phase where every single motion will be picked up as indicated by the red light.
- Then, after each infrared status is detected, the motion sensor will have a 60-second "cooldown" period. This means that once it detects your movement, it will wait for 60 seconds before checking for any further movements.
- If you are using the motion sensor in the toilet, your movements in the shower may not be picked up as the signal may be obstructed by glass.
- Your motion sensor may be placed too far from the Zigbee Hub.
- Your motion sensor may be placed at a location where movements are toward it instead of across it. PIR motion sensors work best when movements are horizontal
- If your motion sensor is being placed at a busy spot such as the corridor, battery may drain faster. In this case, you may consider replacing the battery to see if it will return to working condition.
- Your motion sensor may be faulty. Please reach out to our support team for assistance.
